Degree Programs offer in Deland, Florida

The Associate Degree Program advances the student's study in the field of Biblical Studies using a comprehensive and topical approach. In order to enroll in this program, you must have a high school diploma or GED.

You receive 60 credits after completing all necessary courses of this two-year program and writing a 15,000-word atonement. The following are a list of classes need for completion:

* Homiletics  

* Church History  

* The Life of Christ

* Biblical Doctrine II

* Practical Evangelism

* The History of Missions

* Comparative religions and Cults

Pastor Associate Degree

The Associate Degree Program for Pastors and Minister offers 30 ministry experience credits for pastors and ministers who have been in ministry ten or more consecutive years. The curriculum combines subjects from all programs and the following additional courses to address the special educational needs of ministers:

*Christian Ethics:_Biblical answers to major social concerns. Subject encourages student's personal views with Biblical comparisons

* Leadership Skills:_Development of leadership character and skills pertinent to eective ministry.

* The Principals of Christian Counseling _A revisit of the church's responsibility to restore troubled individuals to productive lives is addressed in this subject with Biblical models for application.

Bachelor Degree

Bachelor of Science in Theology program is to help students who are planning to invest their believes in church or mission vocations to achieve the desired level of knowledge through biblical and theological studies.

* Prerequisites; Associate Degree is require. Total Credits: 120 time Frame: 4 years

Master Degree

* Through coursework, research, and logical and critical writing, students are supplied with the values, knowledge and skills needed to effectively

serve in a variety of ministry-related roles.

* Prerequisites: Bachelor Degree is required. Total Credits: 165 Time frame 4 years.

* Online Classes

* Thesis: Student is to write a 50,000 Word Thesis: Student is to research the topic of their choice and demonstrate a comprehensive understand of the tipic. The term paper will be argumentative or persuasive which requires the student to take a stand on this particular topic and support it with appropriate examples of evidence.

* A Survey of the Old Testament: Student will explore the literary, historical, and theological issues of the Old Testament.

* Jewish Roots of the Christian faith: Student will compare and contrast Christianity and Judaism:

* Christian Ethics: Student will define Biblical Answers to Contemporary Issues: Student will adhere to Christian Ethics as they learn of good and evil, right and wrong, inseparable from theology because it is grounded in the character of God.

* Sketches of Jewish Social Life: Student will learn about the Jewish Social Life in the days of Christ.

* Online Classes

* Thesis: For the Master Degree the student will add an additional 25,000 words onto their pre-written Thesis making their total word count 75,000.
